Krka National Park tickets: choose the right area

Krka National Park tickets for 2026 separate admission to all accessible land sites from the upper-sites ticket that excludes Skradinski buk. The regular individual adult price for the full land-site ticket is 7 EUR in winter, 20 EUR in April, May and October, and 40 EUR from June to September. Decide which waterfall area you want before choosing a cheaper ticket by price alone.

The full day ticket covers the land sites on the same day, with each site visited once. It is a period of validity, not a guided tour lasting all day. The corresponding entrance option includes seasonal transport by boat from Skradin or bus from Lozovac. Excursion boats to Visovac and longer river outings cost extra. The park overview explains how the areas fit together.

Entrance fees for 2026

These are the park’s 2026 tariffs in EUR, including VAT and visitor insurance. The upper-sites package includes Roški slap and excludes Skradinski buk. Burnum was closed for conservation work at the information date of 2 November 2026, so treat the ticket scope separately from access to that location. The published tariff does not make a closed site available.

Children under 7 enter free. Students need a student card. Eligible visitors with a European Disability Card and an accompanying person can receive free entry with the appropriate documentation. Use the applicable eligibility category instead of assuming a general senior or family reduction. For a party with different ages or documents, choose the admission category separately for each visitor.

Afternoon entry and organised groups

From June to September, entry after 15:00 costs 30 EUR for an individual adult and 11.25 EUR for children, students and Croatian mountaineering association members. The corresponding full-land-site group prices after 15:00 are 22 EUR for adults and 11 EUR for child or student groups. Group tariffs apply from 20 people, with written registration at least 24 hours before arrival.

An afternoon ticket leaves a shorter visiting window, so match it to the season’s closing time and your return journey. It is useful for a focused waterfall visit rather than a reason to add distant land sites to the same afternoon. A tour that includes park admission may arrange that part of the visit within its package; compare its inclusions with a standalone entrance ticket.

Opening hours by month

The published calendar below applies to both Skradinski buk and Roški slap in local time. The Skradin park office opens 30 minutes before Skradinski buk and closes at the same time. Opening hours describe the visitor sites; organise the day’s boat departure and return around the actual transport arrangements. They are not a timetable for every vessel.

PeriodSkradinski buk and Roški slap

March09:00 to 17:00
April08:00 to 18:00
May08:00 to 19:00

1 to 15 October08:00 to 18:00
16 to 31 October09:00 to 17:00
November and December09:00 to 16:00

The park is closed on 25 and 26 December. On 24 and 31 December it closes at 12:00. On 1 January only the Lozovac entrance opens. Stinice is closed from January to March and in November and December; its other published opening is 09:00 to 17:00. Keep those exceptions with your date selection, especially for a visit involving an upper-river access point.

Buying and using the ticket

The park’s own online shop accepts advance purchases, and the Skradin boat entrance accepts a printed online ticket or its code on a smartphone. Buying online gives you an admission document; it should not be treated as a general promise of priority boarding or immediate entry. Have the park ticket bought or collected before boarding the seasonal transfer.

Purchases are generally final. An optional date-change and cancellation service provides an exception under its conditions, with a deadline 24 hours before the visit. Its fee is not refunded after cancellation, and cancellation is excluded after a date change has already been used. Apply the terms of the ticket you purchase rather than expecting a general free-cancellation policy.

Choose the entrance along with the ticket. Skradin offers the seasonal boat and a foot or cycle route; Lozovac is the main road approach with free parking and a seasonal park bus. Read getting there for that choice and boat trips for additional river journeys. In November to March, plan a land approach rather than the regular summer Skradin transfer.

Questions about Krka admission

Does the upper-sites ticket include Skradinski buk?

It covers the upper land sites including Roški slap and excludes Skradinski buk. Choose full land-site admission if the lower waterfall circuit is the purpose of your visit.

Is the Skradin boat included?

The relevant entrance option includes the return transfer from 1 April to 31 October. Visovac and longer excursion boats are separate additional services.

Does a one-day ticket mean a guided day tour?

It means same-day validity, with each land site visited once. Guiding and road transport from a coastal departure belong to separate excursion packages.

What makes the Zadar afternoon option different?

That outing combines road transport, a guide, a boat cruise to Skradin and the park entrance ticket. A standalone admission ticket provides a different level of service.
